Welcome to Cancer Care Western NSW
Providing affordable self-care accommodation to those undergoing cancer treatment at Orange Health Service.
Established in January 2007, Cancer Care Western NSW Inc. aims to:
Provide affordable self-care accommodation for those having cancer treatment at Orange Health Service but who do not live in the area. Guests come from across the Central West, Blue Mountains and Western NSW for treatment, with The Lodge serving a population of over 300,000 people.
Raise funds to support the Clinical Trials Unit, based at Orange Health Service.
Lobby Government for accessible radiotherapy and cancer treatment options for the people of Central and Western New South Wales.

Western Care Lodge
Our modern Lodge provides 22 ensuite rooms, outdoor courtyards, dining, kitchen, lounge, laundry and library facilities. It is situated in the grounds of Orange Health Service, close to treatment facilities.
We rely on donations and support from the community to help us provide services and support to those undergoing treatment. Unfortunately income from the accommodation alone doesn’t cover the ongoing costs, such as building maintenance and replacement of furniture and equipment.
Cancer Care Western NSW Inc. acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we operate, The Wiradjuri Peoples.
We recognise the continuing connection to culture and story passed down through generations of Indigenous Australians that unite people, environment and ways of seeing, and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
